oh little aisling, oh

another man's come to call

bearing shackles for your fall

oh little aisling, oh

once stood a Woman standing tall

one hand, torch alit

a sun within her palm

oh little aisling, oh

he'll take her hand

he'll take a stand

'til the sun is gone

oh little aisling, oh

your Sister he'll claim

hide her scales and her name

but the blind she'll keep

to cover a traitor's blame

oh little aisling, oh

your Daughters, i fear

will know no peace here

nor the Sons you hold dear

your Children'll have no home

oh little aisling, oh

your Death may soon be near
